Who could have imagined that the covid years would be life altering. The pandemic had profoundly changed how we view our physical spaces at work and at home. Our physical, mental and emotional health became of utmost importance to ourselves and our families.

At Urban North Inns, we are keenly aware of these changes and are prepared to meet these new challenges. Ontario, like the rest of the world has reopened its doors, but with a changed outlook. That said, welcome back to our lovely city where our fully furnished accommodations, whether it is a room or a whole apartment at Urban North Inns await you!

In October 2020, we bid a bittersweet farewell to Baldwin Village Inn, a second home to guests who came from all corners of the world. Many of you became good friends and a part of our vibrant community. But when one door closes, one (or more!) opens.

Our furnished accommodations include 3 unique inns, with 3 bedroom each with private washrooms and 2 one and two bedroom apartments.

Our staff takes great effort in keeping our properties not only clean but properly sanitized. We follow the guidelines of Ontario’s provincial public health care and their recommendations for hosting our guests safely.

We encourage our guests to respond to health advisories as these are announced. We request that our guests leave outdoor shoes by the door entrance.

We are a local family business. Your hosts, Tess and Roger, have been in the accommodation business for over 40 years. But at the core of it, we are simply a local family, who are happy to share our space and our neighbourhood community to our guests visiting our great city.
